Collection of bulky items

The bulky waste collection service collects household waste that weighs a lot or is very big such as furniture, washing machines and freezers, etc. Collection must be arranged by telephone 900 70 10 45 or through the Sa Pobla Cívica app. The waiting time will now be shorter because the frequency of arranged collection of bulky household items will be improved from one day a week to five.

If you want to put out bulky items for collection, note the day stated by the Council and put it outside your front door in the most accessible place possible. You will have to put up a sign in a visible place showing that you have arranged a collection.

THESE ITEMS ARE COLLECTED

Furniture, bed bases, mattresses, etc.
Doors, blinds and wooden items.
Bicycles, prams, toys, etc.
Domestic appliances such as washing machines, freezers, ovens, etc.

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT COLLECTED

Rubble or building materials.
Panes of glass (for safety reasons).
Hazardous waste: asbestos, fluorescent lights, paint cans, batteries, etc.
Plant clippings.
Any industrial waste or by-products of professional activity.

Home oil collection

To continue improving the collection of waste in Sa Pobla, we are launching the collection of oil at home. This new service will prevent oil being poured into the sewer network, which pollutes and clogs the municipality’s pipes. Cooking oils or preserves can only be collected if they are put in a plastic or glass bottle. Collection can also be arranged by calling 900 70 10 45.

You can request the collection of large items and oil, and quickly and conveniently report incidents, through the Sa Pobla Cívica app. Simply download it, register, and you can then request collections. You can also do it online through this link.
